Testing for this project will be managed very strictly: design test strategy, approach, planning and follow-up of the results. This by alligning 3 parties with each other (business, IT & the supplier).

We need the following skills/background

  • 7+ years of experience in developing and implementing E2E test strategies and plans for complex projects, including test objectives, test approach, resource allocation, and schedules.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills. Able to communicate efficiently with both business and IT teams (design, functional and technical matters)
  • Good knowledge of test methodologies. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are an advantage.
  • Experience with test management tools, e.g. Jira (preferred), HP ALM ...
  • Extensive analytical, problem solving, coordination, decision-making and follow-up skills
  • Pro-active, hands-on mindset with strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
  • Experience in banking and preferably good knowledge of the credits domain in particular.
  • Native/Full proficiency in Dutch and preferably working proficiency in English and French.
  • Knowledge of WebService development, REST APIs and usage of XSD/JSON files
  • Experience with API automation and tools such as Selenium, Postman, Swagger UI.
  • Experience in CICD/DevOps tool chain - GIT, Jenkins.
  • Experience working in a SAFe/Agile context.

Tasks

  • Collaborate with epic owner, business analysts, functional analysts and developers to understand project requirements and define the testing approach.
  • Establish and enforce quality assurance processes for the project, in line with relevant company guidelines and in close cooperation with the testing competence center.
  • Evaluate the feasibility of test automation and (guide) development of automated test scripts where applicable.
  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Review test artifacts to ensure compliance with project requirements and best practices.
  • Oversee the execution of test cases, including user acceptance, functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
  • Monitor progress, identify and prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution of defects.
  • Define and track key testing metrics to measure the effectiveness and progress of testing activities.
  • Ensure clear and concise communication of test results to project stakeholders. Prepare and present test status and defect reports.
  • Identify, assess & report testing risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Implement process improvements and optimizations in the testing methodology.
