For a Thai restaurant in Haarlem, The Netherlands, we are looking for a Thai Speciality Cook.

Do you have experience as a Thai Speciality cook in a Thai restaurant? Would you like to work in an Authentic Thai restaurant? Then we are looking for you!

Requirements:

1. Masters all knowledge and skills for a level 3 cook.

2. Since all communication in the kitchen is in Thai communicating in Thai verbally and in writing is a pre.

3. Thorough knowledge of the Thai ingredients and their use in the Thai kitchen.

4. Thorough knowledge en skill of Thai cooking like cutting- and cooking techniques.

5. Familiar with Authentic Thai cuisine and able to prepare them.

6. A good team player showing flexibility and possess good communication skills.

Tasks

1. Prepare, cut and display the ingredients at the beginning of every working day.

2. Carrying out the preparations, monitoring/checking the quality, doneness, taste, colour, fluidity, etc. and making adjustments/dosing.

3. Marinating meat products that need to be baked, fried, boiled or roasted.

4. Preparing starters and main courses that have to be baked, fried, boiled or roasted.

5. Cleaning one’s own working environment, kitchen equipment and machines and assisting any kitchen assistant present in the complete cleaning of the kitchen.

Experience:

  • At least two years experience working as a Thai Speciality Cook after obtaining diploma.
  • Social Responsibility (Preferred)
  • HACCP (Preferred)

Salary: From €2,055.00 per month
