Veepee has a team of translators who make sure the texts are put online in the language of the user. The languages represented in this team are Spanish, Italian, German, French, English and Dutch. This team cannot wait to welcome a new member!

Your main tasks

    • You will be replacing one of the team member during her maternity leave.
    • As a translator in the “Production Team” you are responsible for the translation of a few sales per week for our website.
    • The texts you will be working on, need to be translated fromFrench to Dutchand the other way around. Besides the translation of sales, you will frequently help with the translation of other texts, obtained from other departments inside the company (Marketing, HR, Logistics…).
    • In making these translations, you work accurately and focused on the quality, to ensure the client is given the correct information.
    • For extra support, a pleasant chat and a nice atmosphere, you can always go to your colleagues with whom you will work on a daily basis. This team is provided with the necessary autonomy to develop their own ideas and proves every day that self-management plays an important role in our company.

Your profile

    • For this function we are looking for someone who has attendeda language-related bachelor’s or master’s program.
    • A first work experience is an asset, but not required.
    • Knowledge of SDL Trados can be a plus, but is again not required.
    • You have excellent knowledge of French, Dutch and English.
    • Furthermore, you are a team player who acts reactively and who can easily prioritize when deadlines are looming.
    • By taking the perspective of the client, you strive for a unique customer experience, without losing sight of the commercial purpose.
