UTOPIA is looking for an EU Public Affairs Account to join the team working on EU Institutional Relations activities, supporting the execution of day-by-day activities and contributing to the development of our Brussels Office. The ideal candidate will be a talented, English, Spanish or French mother tongue public affairs professional, preferably with previous experience in a public affairs or communication consultancy.

Your features

· 1-3 years of EU public affairs experience with a thorough knowledge and understanding of EU policymaking and regulatory processes

· Ability to analyse and understand EU dynamics, identifying legislative and regulatory issues that have the potential to impact clients

· Proven policy and legislative monitoring skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues in clear and synthetic messages

· A previous experience in communication at EU level, with media monitoring and reporting skills and a good command of digital tools is an asset

· Very good networker with experience in the Brussels bubble and ability to work in a small and multi-cultural team

· An English, French or Spanish mother tongue. Other languages represent fundamental assets.

Your main tasks

· Monitoring and reporting of relevant EU legislative and regulatory developments

· Support the Brussels office in the design and implementation of EU public affairs and communication strategies and activities

· Provide support in the execution of day-by-day activities, including briefings’ preparation, social media contents’ production, attending and reporting from relevant events etc.

· Support UTOPIA Brussels’ management in the promotion of company’s brand in the Brussels bubble
