To support our ambitious objectives, we are now looking for an EU Public Affairs Intern (m/f/d) in Brussels startingMarch 2022for a duration of up to 6 months.
  • You want to work in the heart of the EU bubble, in a challenging environment, for a fast-growing start-up?
  • You are curious about public affairs and would like to understand how the EU decision-making works?
  • You are interested in mobility and sustainability & would like to hit the ground running?
Your tasks - Paint the world green
  • Follow political & legislative developments at EU level and when relevant also nationally
  • Be on top of coverage on relevant mobility issues in the media
  • Prepare research and briefing notes on national and international issues
  • Help with drafting materials e.g. position papers, consultation feedbacks
  • Attend and report on external events e.g. parliamentary debates or stakeholder meetings
  • Support the organisation of meetings, presentations, external events, and other activities
  • Assist in the coordination of our public affairs activities in the EU countries and beyond
Your Profile – Ready to hop on board
  • Having graduated or currently enrolled in a European Public Affairs or European Law master’s degree, or relevant academic experience in those fields
  • Previous experience in European public affairs either in the EU institutions or around them in consulting, an industry association or a corporate representation office is a good to have
  • Knowledge of the European decision-making process and ideally some understanding of transport / mobility issues
  • Excellent drafting as well as verbal presentation and communication skills in English required; full professional proficiency in another major European language and in particular French is a plus
