PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Responsible for coordinating Learning Culture improvement and promoting Learning Innovation in the respective Region for all functions, whilst meeting TM targets for Learning Hours and Effectiveness (Skills Development) and continuously improving cost per learning hour.

Ensure the strong level of cooperation with AU CoE and with the Region (Business) to transform the appropriate opportunities of Sales and Partnerships in the Region.

Accountabilities & Authorities
  • L&D Integration Continuity
  • Ensure one single LMS is used to manage all training activities across the new Alstom
  • Create own Dashboards Data reports (Self-Service)
  • Promotes learning innovation and digitalization to improve learning impact, reduce costs and carbon footprint (in-person sessions only if essential)
  • Leverage digital capabilities vs “on-site” trainings
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Reinforce Alstom University (AU) CoE centralized approach for L&D admin. activities (AU CoE India & Romania), and training design / budget activities (AU CoE Central)
  • Maintain proximity with the Business: local HRBP / L&D coordinator liaising with Employees and Line Managers for trainings at local level (i.e. mandatory / regulatory / certifications): Ensuring Only mandatory & regulatory trainings are deployed from the local level (“2/3 global and 1/3 local”).
  • Represents Alstom University locally to ensure consistent promotion towards internal departments of its L&D and Digital Learning services for Alstom clients.
  • Represents Alstom University locally to ensure direct proximity with customers, identification of new leads (AU Sales) and follow-up of ongoing projects.
  • Represents Alstom University locally to ensure direct proximity with partners (Universities, Industrial companies, Start-Up, Engineering schools, ...).
  • Talent Management
  • Engage fully in CoE AU team through operations reviews and policy deployment and ensure effective support for Region/countries.
  • Ensure with Regional HR that the proper yearly Training Plan is clearly understood and coordinated with AU CoE.
  • Consolidate Training requests from Country/Sites/Managers, handle escalations from managers and HRBPs, continually monitoring and managing quality of service, workloads and priorities (coordinating with AU CoE to ensure the proper balance of load to allow the completion of the training plan)
  • Coordinate with AU CoE to ensure global consistency of the Group training plan together with the Regional Talent Directors

  • Supplier/Trainer performance
  • Training hours, %employees trained, NPS, Costs Optimization.

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:

Master degree

Desirable:

University degree in human resources / business

Experience

Mandatory:

L&D and Digital Learning experience (5+ years)

Desirable:

Operations management experience is an advantage
