ABOUT THE CHALLENGE

Our Enterprise Resource Planning software packages are offered to our SME clients to automate their administrative and commercial processes. As an IT consultant (full job title: Customer Service Technical Specialist) you support the implementation of our software by creating layouts and reports, writing queries and integrating them via our scripting tool. You do this both for specific questions from a customer and in collaboration with your colleague project consultants.

As a consultant, your location is Mechelen, Ghent or Hasselt. You mainly work in the office/home office, about 10% of your time is spent with customers

You implement our ERP software at the customer with your colleague project consultant.
You manage your own projects, sub-projects and cases, including their aftercare. For technical questions that cannot be solved by telephone or remotely, you visit the customer on site
You guide the customer, from analysis to acceptance. This includes data import from external applications, creating layout, XML exchange, SQL reporting, data exchange based on external service, and so on
You deal with 3rd line questions and issues related to our implementations
You’re an all-round Project Manager: you keep an eye on the scope, budget and planning of your projects at all times. You ensure flawless organization, communication and follow-up.

YOUR SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree in IT (or equal by experience), combined with practical ERP knowledge focused on implementation
Thorough knowledge of databases
Writing optimized MS SQL queries is a key activity
You use the report generator and code via in-package scripting
You work on a project basis and independently monitor your own projects
Basic knowledge of accounting is a plus
You’re customer-oriented, you communicate effortlessly and you have a professional attitude
Organized, analytical and autonomous
You speak Dutch fluently and can manage well in French
You’re eager to learn and like to train yourself
