For our client in the Brussels area we are looking for a financial analyst in treasury.

  • key responsibilities

    Your main tasks include:

    • Monitor and execute the payment flows to third parties that are initiated by the affiliates (Payment On Behalf Of).
    • Monitor the critical payments.
    • Follow-up on Bank inquiries and coordinate with Banks Customer Services.
    • Support the affiliates enabling the payment issuance within the internal cut off time.
    • Analyze returns and rejects related to payment on behalf of payments and communicate to the concerned affiliates enabling them to unclear the vendor and make the appropriate actions to reissue the payment.
    • In-House Bank Analyst Backfill.
    • Mirroring of funding/refunding activities.
    • Payment Factory postings.
    • Monthly Interco Settlement execution.
    • Monthly Interest calculations and posting.
    • Posting of Internal Payment Orders.
    • Closing In-House Bank Accounting activities on daily and monthly basis Coordinate and follow-up with Affiliates as well as with Treasury.
    • Accounting Team on any requests.
    • Contribute to Ad-Hoc projects.

  • qualifications

    • Master’s degree in finance of economics with good accounting knowledge.
    • 1-3 Yearsof relevant experience in (corporate) treasury / in-house bank. Treasury Certification is a plus.
    • Strong analytic skills – ability to standardize varying data process/inputs.
    • Strong capabilities in MS Excel
    • Fluent in English (both verbal and written) as a minimum , French is a plus
    • Experience in electronic banking systems such as SWIFT and of Payment Practices is a plus.
