FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

At Equans Belux, located in the heart of Brussels, we are looking for a Financial Controller who will elevate our financial processes to a higher level with a fresh perspective.

Ready to take the financial reins?

• coordinate the monthly closing process, including preparation of reports and analysis of figures
• provide group reporting for our Business Unit and associated legal entities
• periodic accounting follow-up of the legal entities within your scope
• preparation of Board of Directors’ meetings for the legal entities within the scope
• support the Business Controller with financial and accounting issues
• preparation and follow-up of the year-end audit, including contact with the external auditor
• annual preparation of the social coefficient and standard rates
• provide various financial information

Are you our Financial Controller?

• master’s degree in economics or finance, or equivalent through experience
• at least 3-5 years of experience in a financial role; experience at a Big 4 is a plus
• an analytical mind that understands business needs
• basic knowledge of economic and financial skills such as general accounting principles, cost accounting, and financial analysis
• knowledge of services to companies and governments and the accounting principles of contracts/projects is an advantage
• proficiency in MS 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus
• familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI is a plus
• strong communication skills
• curiosity, quality orientation, open-mindedness, and commitment
• fluent in Dutch or French with very good knowledge of the other national language and good knowledge of English
