As an Accountant, you will support our Financial Department supervising and supporting the accounting and Internal Audit activities.

Your day-today?

  • You execute tasks regarding the following financial processes: General Accounting, assembling & and analyzing data, and taking the necessary actions based on the analysis results.
  • You provide data to management and business partners, based on reporting needs. When executing tasks, you follow up on and apply (changes in) legislation and financial standards & and principles.
  • You collect and prepare the necessary information regarding the financial audits and you are the first point of contact for questions of auditors within your domains if necessary.
  • You provide input into the development of procedures, practices, systems, and work instructions.
  • You play an active role in the month-end/year-end closing process!

Who are we looking for?

  • Degree in Accounting, Economics, Management, or equivalent;
  • At least 3 years of experience in Accounting;
  • Knowledge of Internal Audit is a plus;
  • Knowledge of SAP is recommended;
  • You have knowledge of different GAAPS (BEGAAP, FRGAAP, IFRS).
  • Solid knowledge of Office tools;
  • Must be knowledgeable in English and fluent in Dutch (written and spoken) - Mandatory
  • Strong sense of detail and critical analysis;
  • Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills;
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task.
