To support us in this mission, we are currently looking for an Fleet Manager.

As a Fleet Manager you will lead our fleet operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance. With your expertise in logistics and strong leadership, you’ll drive operational excellence in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fleet management strategies to meet company goals and objectives
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance, repair, and servicing schedules to ensure fleet reliability and compliance with safety regulations
  • Monitor and manage fuel consumption, driver behavior, and vehicle utilization to reduce operational costs
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to source, negotiate, and maintain relationships with vehicle suppliers
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of drivers and mechanics to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate records of fleet-related expenses, including maintenance, repairs, and fuel.
  • Implement technology solutions for tracking and managing fleet assets
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement

Job requirements

Must Haves Qualities & Talents

  • Having a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field, and proven experience (+ 5 years) as a Fleet Manager or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and vehicle maintenance best practices
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights to make informed decisions
  • Effective communication (in English and Dutch) and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
