ACCOUNTANT

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an accountant who’s eager to learn and take her/his knowledge to the next level. In this role you will report to the Chief Accountant and will be involved in different accounting functions, but your focus will be on the closings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You’ll be a part of an accounting team of 4 people. This means you’ll be:

  • Participating in the monthly and yearly closing process
  • Performing closing checks and reconciliations
  • Assisting in financial and project audits

You’ll also draft and maintain the accounting manual.

You’ll contribute to improving and executing on the internal controls and processes, and act as a finance key user for ERP maintenance and improvement projects.

YOU

Hold a bachelor’s degree in accountancy or equivalent

Have at least 3 years of working experience

Have strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail

Are fluent in Dutch and English

Have good IT skills, in particular, a good knowledge of Excel

Are independent, up for a challenge, eager to learn, and result-oriented

Have strong communication and problem-solving skills
