To support our business, we are looking for a Sales Application Engineer.

This role will perform, but is not limited to the following responsibilities

• Install and train Datacolor equipment, such as color matching software and quality control software at customer locations in EMA with particularly in Eastern countries .
• Manage the existing customer base and expand the business to new customers in the textile, paint & plastics markets.
• Conduct telephone, email, and web support on a regular basis and be responsible to help solving color related problems at customer sites.
• Assist the agent sales team by demonstrating our software solutions to potential customers and help customers to obtain the desired results.
• Assist in setting up color seminars, customer training events, webinars, and will be able (in time) to present to a larger audience.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Industry Experience in color management (an industry specific experience e.g. Paint, Textile, Ink, Plastic, or Printing will be taken into consideration as job experience).
• You have a fluency in English; and extra EU language is mandatory, preferably German.
• Proficient in Windows Software and CRM software (SalesForce.com is a Plus).
• Good computer skills including Sybase, SQL, Citrix and terminal server applications.
• Bachelor’s degree required (esp. in engineering or chemistry), Master’s Degree preferred.
• Ability to travel 50% (May be more or less. Some travel on own time required).
• Must be a team player and capable of working independently
• Excellent presentation and communications skills.
• Experience in the use of Colour Matching systems and Colour Quality Control Systems is a plus.
• Good computer skills including Sybase, SQL, Citrix and terminal server application.
