THE COMPANY
GEM One is a brand new TECH company within the TVH Holding that aims at developing future-proof solutions for optimal fleet performance management in multiple domains such as: track & trace, operational efficiency, security & safety and service & maintenance. We offer cloud-based solutions and the necessary hardware components to intelligently gather and enrich data of industrial equipment to streamline fleet management related processes.
To support the rapid growth of Gem One, we are looking for an Assistant Accountant
RESPONSIBILITIES
Processing invoices
Allocating payments and ensure invoices are coded
Credit collection
Bank/statement reconciliations
Preparing of the VAT and ICP declarations
Month end account
Journal posting
Processing card transactions
Performing balance sheet reconciliation
Reviewing and updating cash flow
Additional ad-hoc finance projects and administration
Requirements
You should have a degree in a finance field
Previous experience working within a finance function is essential
Good knowledge of MS Excel
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Be ambitious and eager to grow at the same pace of the business
Ability to work independent and as part of a team
Good communication and organizational skills
Flexible attitude and taking the initiative to get things done
Strong analytical skills and conceptual problem-solving approach
You have a very good command of the English Language in speaking and writing (knowledge of any other language is a very nice to have)
Knowledge of Salesforce and FinancialForce is a nice to have
