Benelux Category Manager Coloration & BE mid-size retailers Lead

Consumer Products Division

Your mission:

You are the expert of your categories (coloration & new categories) and the lead of the implementation of the Business Development priorities on the Belgian mid-size retailers. You identify key trends and define category growth drivers based on deeper category-& consumer knowledge and thorough market analyses. You are an essential touchpoint for the Belgian-specific mid-size accounts.

Your responsibilities amongst others are:

Translating BNL category strategy into local relevant categories-stories based on shopper, consumer and market data insights

Leading, implementing and following up on key category projects at our retailers

Leading the shelf process both internally and externally. Create strong shelf visions and maximize potential for retailer, L’Oreal & shopper

Adapting the portfolio management (assortment, complementarity, retailer’s differentiation) with the help of the merchandiser

Supervising the planograms creation and follow up with the help of the assortment & space manager

Building trustful relations with counterparts at retailers and strategic alignment with retailers

Strategizing & simplifying our Belgian food mid-size set-up to focus on value creating projects.

Our ideal candidate has at least:

  • Master degree
  • 5 years of working experience in Category Management, Product Management or Key Account Management
  • Strong level of French and English are a must, any other language is beneficial (Dutch e.g.)

The ideal candidate would already have worked with Excel, PPT, Nitro & Spaceman/ planogramming tools
