Job description

As BI Specialist, your role will be to:
Identify the authentic sources and visualize reports to be designed.
Draw up schemes of "information processes".
Work together with the database architect on the design of the Enterprise data warehouse with its data marts and the Management Information System
Format data models
Translate the customer needs gathered by the "Operations" division into "requirements" for the developers.
Collaborate with the "systems" and "products" services to ensure feasibility.
Bring information together from different sources.
Align the information and use a list of terms that is common to the entire board (DRI).
Translate the progress status of the products for the business unit manager.
Attend meetings with customers in due time with the project leader.
Prepare a schedule for performing incremental analyses
Escalate incidents that impact the schedule communicated by the other business units.
Participate in "user groups" meetings.
Lead the working meetings with the developers and with the technical teams and reporting to the project leader.
Contribute to the discussion on project development.
Propose innovative solutions
Coordinate and monitor the implemented information system with a view to guaranteeing its maintenance, be it evolutionary or adaptive.
Gather real data and real cases with a view to performing functional testing.
Create a plan of testing that includes different test scenarios.
Manage and guide users during test executions
Gather test data and integrate them into the development process.
Meeting suppliers to keep abreast of innovations in the ICT domain
Participate in conferences and training courses

Profile

As BI Specialist, you have:
A Master or bachelor degree in IT or equivalent by experience.
Strong knowledge in Business Intelligence; knowledge of analytics is an added value.
5+ years of experience in a similar role.
Good knowledge of Microsoft office tools, knowledge of SharePoint is an advantage added value.
Knowledge of SAS, as one must be able to draw up a technical analysis with which a ETL developer can get to work
Knowledge of SAP BO/Web Intelligence/Lumira to guide the reporting part. Knowledge of PowerBI is an added value.
Good knowledge and affinity with testing
Knowledge and experience in BPMN, Devops and Agile
Strong command in French and or Dutch + English.
