Your Challenge

Are you passionate about transforming customer needs into impactful business strategies? Do you thrive in a matrix environment where leadership, collaboration, and innovation drive results? We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Business Development Director Preanalytics EMEA to join our regional commercial organization and elevate our Preanalytics business to the next level.

In this key leadership role, you will develop and execute regional commercial and marketing strategies focused on sustainable growth, innovation, and market leadership. As a bridge between commercial and business unit teams, you’ll help define how we bring our offerings to market, shape channel and pricing strategies, and act as a voice of the customer within the organization.

  • Define and execute forward-looking sales and profitability strategies
  • Set and track annual regional sales targets in alignment with leadership
  • Optimize sales team performance in partnership with country sales leaders
  • Guide strategic pricing and business-unit-specific marketing roadmaps
  • Identify and pursue new growth opportunities with Business Units
  • Engage with Key Opinion Leaders and strategic customers to drive impact
  • Enhance commercial capabilities across markets and customer groups
  • Lead cross-functional teams and align internal stakeholders around priorities
  • Contribute to talent selection, development, and a collaborative culture
  • Deliver market and competitive intelligence to shape product and marketing strategies

Your profile

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred
  • 8+ years experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences sector within the EMEA region
  • Strong business acumen with domain expertise in Preanalytics (e.g. Labs)
  • Proven record of driving commercial growth in complex, matrix organizations
  • Excellent understanding of healthcare procurement and solution-based sales
  • Highly collaborative, with strong influencing and communication skills
  • Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives and managing virtual teams
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis

For positions based in Austria, and in accordance with the collective agreement for the Austrian chemical industry, the minimum annual gross salary for this role is EUR 78,383.90. The actual compensation package will be determined individually, based on your qualifications and professional experience.

Compensation for roles in other countries will be aligned with local market standards and may vary accordingly.
