We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to help drive Caeleste’s growth to the next level. If you thrive on spotting opportunities, building strong partnerships, and managing the sales funnel from start to finish - this role is for you.

Your main responsibilities as our new Business Development Manager include:

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities by engaging with potential customers and strategic partners.
  • Managing the full business development lifecycle — from lead generation and qualification to proposal development and deal closure — in close collaboration with the engineering team.
  • Contributing to the go-to-market strategy and leading marketing initiatives to strengthen Caeleste’s market visibility.
  • Aligning customer needs with internal R&D by mapping market trends to technology roadmaps and supporting the development of advanced imaging solutions.
  • Representing Caeleste at conferences, trade shows, and other industry events.
  • Providing strategic business insights and actionable recommendations to the management team.
  • Reporting directly to the Business Development Office Lead and supporting company-wide growth initiatives.
  • Managing key customer accounts from a Business Development perspective, ensuring long-term relationships and customer satisfaction.

We are seeking a proactive, results-driven professional with the following qualifications and attributes:

  • A Master’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electronics or Physics) with a strong interest in Business Development, or equivalent experience in driving sales and business growth in a high-tech B2B environment (minimum 5 years).
  • Strong business acumen and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry is a significant advantage.
  • A solid understanding of digital and analog design, test electronics, photonics, or related fields is considered a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and expand your professional network.
  • Proven ability to drive the full sales cycle, from lead identification to deal closure, delivering measurable results.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, with a commitment to achieving company-wide objectives.
  • The ability to effectively influence and persuade colleagues and stakeholders on technical, legal, and business matters.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 15%) to pursue business opportunities.
  • Strong command of English (both written and verbal), with the ability to tailor your message to diverse audiences for clarity and impact.
