Your Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Shape the future go-to-market strategy and promotional activities for both Business Units to achieve country and BU sales and profit targets and market share targets (Gross-To-Net optimization).
  • Gather insights from customers to fully understand how and when they want engagement with Sandoz and why – what content and services are wanted.
  • Maximize corporate impact of Sandoz towards customers with solutions “beyond discounts” by leveraging regional and local initiatives and positioning.
  • Lead cross-departmental projects to improve customer experience on major customer pain-points
  • Drive FF productivity and improve quality and transparency of resource allocation decision making targeting & segmentation, territory design/alignment, FF capacity planning, product allocation, ….)
  • Align strategic company and BU objectives with sales and promotion plans and incentive schemes.
  • Setting up a roadmap to develop an insight driven organization.
  • Driving the systematic generation of insights for all business units and generating recommendations for the business
  • Ensuring access to monthly analysis of market data
  • Creation of ad hoc market, product and business analysis based on internal and external data.
  • Carrying out market research projects
  • Drive effectiveness of multichannel tools and foster culture of acceptance and innovation
  • Lead, motivate, direct, develop, train and coach the team.
  • Support local business initiatives and secure regulations and guidelines, e.g. commercial partnerships & strategies, business case creation in collaboration with finance,…
  • Being part of the cluster 1 ComEx and Business Operations leadership team and regional sales excellence network, facilitate and proactively manage best practice sharing across BUs and within the cluster and region.
  • Support the Business partners in leading Performance Management Team meetings (PMT) for their respective businesses’

Essential Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Masters degree in business administration or comparable studies
  • Background in commercial oriented role in pharmaceuticals industry or FMCG 3+ years
  • Sales experience
  • Digital/Multichannel experience
  • Profound skills in market and competitor analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and high learning agility
  • Strong Customer Focus
  • Team player, positive mindset
  • Digitally savvy
  • Curious, open to change and ambiguity.
  • Business acumen
  • Ability to lead directly and indirectly.
  • Superior ability to communicate, collaborate effectively, and push things through/across a global, matrixed company.
  • Fluent Dutch, French and English
