About Our Client

The Chief Accounting / Corporate Finance will directly report to the CFO and CEO and have the opportunity to be part of the launch and international expansion of the organization.

That also means that the functions responsibilities gather people management and change management.

Job Description

The Chief Accounting, based in Brussels, will manage the accounting team and work on the definition and implementation of the new financial structure.

The main responsibilities include:

  • The operational supervision of the accounting - management of a team of 2 which could aim to grow and the coordination of the Shared Service Center
  • The consolidation and quarterly reporting
  • The preparation of the financial statements
  • The reporting to the C-Level
  • The coordination and implementation of the new financial structure
    • Development of financial processes
    • Development and improvement of financial tools
    • Management of the team
  • The supervision of the legal, fiscal and administrative tasks linked to finance
  • The main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

The Chief Accounting / Corporate Finance is responsible for the maintenance and the accuracy of the financial statements of the whole organization.

The Chief Accounting will be the first line of contact for the C-Level and the business.

  • Bachelor and / or Master degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting - or equivalent
  • Min 5 years of relevant experience with the management of A to Z accounting
  • Excellent command and French & English
  • People management experience is a plus
  • Experience in the real estate is a plus
  • Experience with Shared Service Centers is a plus
  • Experience in change management is a plus
  • Proactive & result oriented
  • Team spirit & positive mindset
  • Doer attitude & excellent organization skills
