Corporate Banking BE is the business unit within BNP Paribas Fortis that manages the client relations with medium and large Belgian companies, and Belgian activities of foreign multinationals, and financial and public institutions.

Within CCB corporate clients are followed by +- 35 Relationship Managers, and a team of +- 20 Commercial Support Officers (=assistant relationship managers). Their offices are located in Brussels Chancellerie.

Tasks

  • You have a dedicated client portfolio and work within an experienced team of commercial support officers. For these clients, you act as primary contact for daily business related client questions, and you act as back up in case the RM is absent. In this regard, you have daily contact with Group Treasurers, Assistant Treasurers, Financial Director, accounting, … as well as with colleagues abroad given the international structure of our clients.
  • You play an important coordinating role as client requests usually concern several internal departments.
  • You provide commercial and administrative support to the Relationship Manager. This means oa (but not exhaustive) : active intervention in domestic and international account openings, prepare contracts for the electronic channels, prepare bank attestations, follow up of regulatory and compliance obligations (client acceptance, anti-money laundering, ...), follow up risk and profitability reportings, keep client file and client conditions up to date, active support in daily management of cash pools,...
  • Together you are responsible for the client satisfaction.
Requirements

  • IT tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, PDF) - mandatory. MS Office - preferable
  • Relevant economic education
  • Preferably experience in the financial sector
  • commercial experience is a plus
  • Fluent trilingual N/F/E is mandatory
