Robert Half is currently looking for a communication manager (m/v/x)

For a Brussels-based Public Affairs Consultancy, a leader in its field, we are looking for a communications Manager to oversee the internal and external communications for the European region.

Description of the job

Internal Communication - 50%

• Developing & implementing an internal communication strategy
• Ensuring that corporate information flows to all employees.
• Coordinating corporate communication in collaboration with local POC’s in Brussels, London, Berlin, Paris, India
• Sparring with the Chief Content Officer to ensure the coherence of the information
• Managing, modifying and updating the intranet
• Coordinating the annual internal event (summit)
• Improving and working on existing communication materials
• Contributing to internal trainings for employees

External Communication - 50%

• Defining a communication plan to improve/implement company’s positioning/reputation in different countries and implement it.
• Further developing the company branding (e.g. promote the services the company can provide and elaborate the employer branding be positioned as an employer of choice)
• Ensuring the coherence of the distributed information through different communication channels.
• Choosing the right channel for the right message.
• Elaborating an external content plan and managing the social media channels

Who are we looking for?

• You have a bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with 5 to 10 years of experience in communications and/or marketing.
• You have an excellent knowledge of English.
• You can adapt your message to the right channel and you know your way around Social Media
• You are autonomous and a self-starter. You have a hands-on mentality and are solution-minded.
• You can start between April and June
• You are willing to travel occasionally for work (around 5%).
