Compressor Technique Service (CTS) is looking for a compliance engineer to support compliance requirements within the purchasing department.

As compliance engineer you will plan, develop, implement and follow-up of local, national and international legislations, norms and standards. You will support in defining a sustainable roadmap.

To be succesful as a compliance engineer you will have a sound technical background and be up to date with the latest regulatory developments in the industry.

The ideal person for this position requires solid analytical skills alongside the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to other employees and management.

The Role
  • Ensuring technical compliance with applicable laws and regulations. (REACH, CE, UKCA, Value Chain Due Diligence, Conflict Minerals, COO,...)
  • Instituting best-practice procedures for compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Developing strategies and implementation plans for compliance-related matters.
  • Managing of non-compliance issues
  • Ensuring availability of product and material certificates
  • Analyse the sustainability strategy of suppliers
  • Support in reaching the sustainability ambitions and targets
What we expect of you?

You have a technical degree (Bachelor or Master) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience within compliance.

You are a dynamic person with a healthy interest in technics, compliance and sustainability. You are analytical, accurate, result driven and have excellent problem solving skills. You have the ability to understand regulatory frameworks. You are a team player.

You fluently speak English, the knowledge of Dutch is a plus. The ability to communicate effectively to colleagues at all levels and suppliers and across cultural / language barriers is key.

You will report to Quality Team Leader.
