A company active in the Private Banking sector is currently looking to hire a Deputy Head of Compliance to join their offices in Antwerp. Thanks to your experience in compliance, risk management or audit, you will play a key role within the company.

Your main responsibilities as the new Deputy Head of Compliance will include:

  • providing compliance advice on regulations and internal policies, such as money laundering legislation, MiFID and GDPR;
  • the continuous development of the compliance policy framework;
  • performing compliance risk assessments and the compliance monitoring program;
  • the development of the compliance program;
  • assisting with the compliance reporting as well as any queries raised by the regulatory authorities;
  • providing training and awareness sessions;
  • advise other departments on improving controls.

Your profile:

  • You have a degree in law or economics
  • You have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a compliance, risk management or audit role at a large organisation
  • You have a very good knowledge of the MiFID II regulation, as well as AML, MAD/MAR, UCITS
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus.
