Founded in 2003, Smartbox is the leading European gift experience business. We have sales of ¿500M, a presence in 11 markets, 6 brands and a strong track record of profitability. The company is currently carrying out a comprehensive business transformation programme that will drive our online business growth. We have centralised our online business & technology in Dublin, and are undertaking a large-scale investment to put in place a best-in-class web and mobile platform to better serve and grow our multi-million person customer base. As part of this transformation, we are accelerating our online sales through expanding our online products range and differentiating our online offering from our established retail range.

The eCommerce Trading Executive will collaborates with our Acquisition, Contracting, Marketing, CRM and Content teams to shape the growth of our online portfolio. Its core function will be to merchandise products, manage promotional calendar and optimise our existing product performance.

What will you be doing?

· Through analysis of product performance, identify and drive increased revenue growth, including but not limited to Merchandising, Landing Pages, Imagery, Content, Pricing, Categorisation, Promotions, Newsletter and availability

· Foster an environment of continuous improvement to ensure the customer experience is best in class

· Work closely with Contracting team to create and optimise products and offers

· Optimise site navigation through analysis of customer journeys (Merchandising and Navigation Menu)

· Optimise homepage product promotions in line with overall promotional plan

Profil

What type of experience will you have?

· 2+ years¿ experience in e-commerce

· Website merchandising experience

· Belgium, French or Netherlands market knowledge

· Working knowledge of ecommerce KPIs

· Experience in accurately interpreting and drawing conclusions from data

· Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint

· Fluent spoken and written English, secondary language is needed (French or Dutch)

· Bachelor degree in marketing, business, e-Commerce or equivalent work experience
