OVERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

The EMEA Media Lead is responsible to lead the operations & governance at scale for our paid traffic acquisition strategies in EMEA in support of OPCOs & IBVTs in an inclusive, timely & qualitatively manner. The EMEA Media Lead will lead our EMEA Media hub & guide all wider traffic acquisition tactics to supp ort our Medical, commercial & corporate communication stakeholders. In 2023, our EMEA Media hub successfully delivered 135 million impressions to our key stakeholders, both HCPs & Patients. Equally important, our commitment to operational excellence resulted in significant cost savings.

MAIN ACTIVITIES/TASKS:

  • Lead standardization efforts on Media & traffic acquisition planning & execution across the region
  • Increase investments & positioning of Media & Traffic acquisition tactics in strategic medical & commercial campaign planning
  • Drive process optimization to bring efficiencies in Media & Traffic acquisition at scale in Janssen
  • Manage a robust set of partners and agencies to bring the highest impact to the business while protecting the efficient cost-to-serve for the business to work with the EMEA Media Hub
  • Connect investments of Medical & Commercial stakeholders with the business impact those investments achieve for the campaign owners.
  • Act as the ’subject business matter expert’ by analyzing, simplifying and prioritizing requirements and document them into detailed use cases
  • Work across the full width of the digital operations channels & solutions to bring synergies combining Media & traffic acquisition with other channels & tactics.
  • Ensures all developed projects & strategies responds to our industry specific compliance guidelines
  • Successfully develops strong working relationships with key stakeholders to maintain communication and manage expectations with regards to services functionality and delivery
  • Drive change management & communication projects to internal stakeholders to drive the success and value Media & Traffic acquisition bring to the business
  • Build strong networks across the whole organization to maximize scaling of regional strategy
  • Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure quality of deliverables, timely progression of projects, and adherence to specification

Special Requirements

  • Extensive experience in leading Media & traffic acquisition, ideally in the pharm industry (+3year)
  • Strong background in overall digital-marketing and digital project management (+5year)
  • Experience with agency governance & alignment (+3year)
  • A process person used to operate in environments where complexity is high with the necessary business acumen to establish logical links between processes and business impact
  • Able to review business requirements, identify issues and generate possible solutions to complex problems whilst establishing good standard operating procedures
  • Able to translate business requirements into written specifications and/ or visual aids (e.g. PowerPoint, Flow diagrams)
  • Experience of communicating complex technical/ functional concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across our organization both internal and external
  • Priorities workload and manage own time to meet agreed targets and deadlines

JOB LOCATION:

The role is EMEA based and will involve travel (10%) within the home country and across the EMEA region. It is anticipated that the role holder will be based in his/her current country of residence as long as easy access to travel/transportation and local hosting is available at a Janssen office.

Qualifications:

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Master or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Expert in Media, Digital, Omnichannel and digital marketing
  • Comprehensive understanding of the critical business questions and drivers of performance.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to create and develop collaborative working relationships across different departments and countries.
  • Strong change management experience.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Fluency in additional EMEA languages would be beneficial.

  • Ability to work effectively in virtual teams in a highly matrixed environment.

EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 5 years business experience is required in the digital marketing field
