About The Role

Presales Solutions Consultants in our PreSales team play a critical role in developing customer relationships. Whether it’s speaking directly to customers about business challenges, industry trends or the competitor landscape, they deal directly with customers to enable sales of our market leading industrial software solutions.

Area of responsibility

As part of the EMEA MOM Presales Team, the successful candidate will participate in many aspects of the sales process to facilitate sales of solutions related to Siemens Manufacturing Operation Management (MOM) portfolio, by engaging with customers and prospects to gather high level business and technical requirements to determine customer needs, ensuring that all necessary information is gathered prior to an offer.

As well as delivering compelling presentations and process demonstrations you will provide Proof of Concepts or workshops all the while maintaining a focus on the Values the solutions will deliver.

Additionally, working with Product Management and Business Enablement providing feedback to aid on-going development of current products and input around new product roadmaps.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or Information Technology

Extensive and proven Electronics Manufacturing knowledge, especially in terms of value of solutions

Working experience in driving pre-sales activities, preferably in a prescriptive sales approach

Knowledge with Siemens Software solutions or competitive products

Your competencies

Strong customer focus and ability to become a trusted advisor

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Fluent in English – ideally also one or two other EMEA languages

Ability to travel 25%-50% of the time
