E.ON Power Plants Belgium BV (EPPB), a subsidiary of the E.ON group, is responsible for energy supply solutions for industrial clients in Belgium and the Netherlands, based on innovative and climate friendly technologies like cogeneration, waste heat utilization or renewable heat and power production. The core business encompasses the development, realization and operation of on-site power/heat generation plants.

As Part Of An Interdisciplinary Team, You Support And Take Ownership For Various Commercial, Energy Market And Development Projects, With Focus On
  • Follow-up and implementation of all energy market related and regulatory topics and processes for the existing plant portfolio
  • Follow-up of the regulatory framework and subsidy schemes for energy production, renewables and carbon reduction measures for projects in development
  • Drafting, negotiation and management of all energy related agreements with clients and third parties
  • Project management to guide the (new) customer experience by aligning technical, commercial and energy market objectives
  • Preparation and support of feasibility studies and business case calculations as a contribution to commercial project development of new projects
  • Representing EPPB and supporting (lobbying) activities with respect to the development of the future regulatory framework and/or prospective clients
  • Responsible for the digital presence of EPPB (Website/LinkedIn)
  • Master degree or similar qualification (engineering, economics or business administration)
  • Experience in the energy industry and proven project management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the Belgian and/or Dutch energy market/regulatory framework is a plus
  • Capability and creativity to interlink technical, regulatory, commercial and legal aspects
  • You drive partnership between the interdisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (direct client contact to large B2B customers)
  • Open and international minded personality, comfortable with working in a start-up environment with flat hierarchies; strong motivation and willing to roll up sleeves
  • Business fluent in English and Dutch is a must, other language skills are a plus
