Based in Brain L ‘Alleud to the south of Brussels, Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour.

This post is assigned to the Service Support and Business Applications(SSBA) Business Area, with the Business Area Chief being accountable for planning and executing all lifecycle management activities (design; transition; operations) for all logistics (service support) and business application services (including subject matter expertise; research and development; software engineering acquisition; operations & maintenance; and, disposal) in diverse technical service areas.

About you

We are looking for a talented and knowledgeable Engineer (Application Support)who holds:

  • minimum a Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 2 years post related experience ( exceptionally, the lack of a university/college degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate’s particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency);
  • experience in Human Resource (HR) IT applications related to personnel, posts, organisations, identity management and badges;
  • experience with programming languages and platforms like .NET and C#;
  • experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration;
  • experience ( at least two years ) in various areas of Software Engineering;
  • k nowledge and experience in state-of-the-art technologies, relevant to Software Engineering;
  • knowledge of ITIL V3 or ITIL4 service management framework;
  • ability to work in cross functional a pplication teams and to communicate effectively, with good briefing skills.

Knowledge of English, both written and spoken is essential.
