ABOUT THE CHALLENGE

Do you dream of a career in cloud computing, but maybe don’t have the right credentials yet? Belfius is setting up the IT platform of the future in Azure Cloud and is looking for ambitious young talent to join this Cloud Center of Excellence. Don’t worry if you don’t have a lot of experience or knowledge in the area: you’ll enroll in a custom training program specifically designed to teach you all you need to know to become a certified expert cloud software developer.

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be facing riveting technical challenges while analyzing client requirements and designing and developing solutions on a software level, focusing on automation. You’ll also coach and advise clients on cloud computing, Agile environments, DevOps, self-service and automation.

YOUR SKILLS

You don’t need to be an expert cloud engineer yet, we’ll train you. However, to enroll in our traineeship, you need programming skills in at least one of Azure’s supported languages and you need to have at least an awareness of Azure services or those of another cloud environment.

We’re looking for someone:
Passionate about the technological aspects of IT

Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Who enjoys working in a multicultural team, but can also work autonomously on proper goals

With a good mix of developing (automation, Version Control, CI/CD testing,...) and infrastructure skills (databases, networking, Middleware, containers,...)

Familiar with cloud automation tools (ARM, TerraForm, Ansible,...)

But most importantly: someone enthusiastic and eager to learn!
