Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

USNATO Facilities Supervisor (USNATO FS) Reports to: WDC Program Director and General Services Officer

Major Duties And Responsibilities
  • The Contractor shall provide a USNATO FS who shall be responsible for the competent performance of the contracted services, which shall have the full authority to act for the Contractor at USNATO and its constituent posts.
  • The USNATO FS shall provide overall management, guidance, and technical supervision to the Contractor staff, ensuring timely and quality performance and professionalism.
  • An Acting USNATO FS must be designated by the Contractor for periods when the USNATO FS is absent. Advance notice no later than 24 hours prior to the absence, of such change shall be provided to the USNATO post COR or alternate.
  • The USNATO FS shall be available at all times during working hours to discuss contract related issues with the COR and to supervise daily operations and shall cooperate fully with officials at post on all security and personal conduct issues.
  • The USNATO FS in coordination with the Regional Security Officer shall ensure that all contractors receive an annual RSO refresher briefing on relevant security regulations, procedures, and policies.
Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or management preferred. Must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the management and administration of facilities Operations and must have experience supervising and directing a workforce of 3 to 10 individuals.
  • Trades licenses at the Journeyman or Master level are highly desirable.
  • Must be experienced in details and management of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, structures, custodial services, and grounds maintenance.
  • Must be familiar with work control systems, PM systems, logistics, and energy conservation.
  • Must have oral and written communication skills sufficient to produce employee evaluations and written reports for upper management and to brief upper management on project status.
  • Driver’s license required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued Top Secret security clearance.
