We have an opportunity for a Field Service Manager role to join our Honeywell HBT Unit in Belgium.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, lead & motivate a high-performing Field Service Leaders team.
Facilitate the team’s achievement of goals and objectives and strive for excellence, growth, and customer relationships including technical coaching, knowledge sharing & deploying standard engineering and support process, tools and methodologies.
Make planning’s.
Organize and lead team meetings.
Develop long-term, high quality sustainable business relationships with customers by engaging with management teams and consistently exceeding expectations.
Manage strong working relationship with customers and improve & maximize customer satisfaction.
Act as the focal point to the customer in all aspects of the project, ensuring that all contractual requirements and obligations are understood and fulfilled.
Prime interface to customers to ensure that support and project requirements are defined, agreed and delivered within schedule and cost constraints.
Work closely together with the sales team on attracting new customers and retention of existing customers.
Drive operational performance improvements to increase revenue, improve service quality, increase operational efficiency, and maximize profitability.
Make sure that the integration of two business units runs smoothly.
Drive a continuous improvement in general business processes and practices.
Drive the Honeywell safety culture through thorough understanding, commitment and actions supporting the organization’s safety and environmental requirements / regulations.
Spokesperson and figurehead to promote Honeywell’s regional service name and capability.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • 10 years’ experience in people management.
  • Strong knowledge of the Fire and Security industry with at least five-year service management / supervision experience.
  • Demonstrated business acumen including financial planning, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience of operating in a complex international/matrix, with relatively independent and remote locations.
  • 5 years of managing service solutions and customer expectations.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • IT literacy.
  • Working proficiency in Dutch and French are required. Knowledge of English is necessary for internal matters.
  • Open to learn and on taking part in digitalization and introduction of new solutions.
  • Valid Drivers License.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Honeywell business.
  • Excellent organizational, communication – both oral and written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Engineering or relevant job experience.
  • Experience with Fire and Security control systems and advanced software solutions.
