To reinforce the BeNelux team of CHG-MERIDIAN, based in Grimbergen, we are looking for a G/L Accountant (m/f/d).

As GL Accountant you are passionate to work with people and have experience providing in-depth knowledge regarding accounting and reporting. Paying attention to details is your second nature. You are looking for anopportunity that requires your analytical approach and is filled with variation.

On a daily basis you will focus on lease accounting and perform the necessary control checks and reconciliations in order to produce correct bi-annual Local Financial Statements. This will include following tasks:

• Full control of the inventory book
• Reconciliation of the assets to go on lease
• Ensure correct Lease classification
• Other cut-off analysis (incl. OPEX)

You are a proactive partner who supports relevant stakeholders (Internal Sales, Credit & Funding, Sales) in reaching their objectives. At the same time you will have a critical eye on existing procedures and make recommendations for improvement.

What do we see in your future? The ability to develop in IFRS; preparing the bi-annual IFRS reporting sheets and monitor the double posting logic between LG and IFRS. You are completely convincing if you also have:

• a Bachelor or Master in Economics, Accounting or Finance
• 2 to 5 years of work relevant experience in Accounting and Financial Reporting
• Excellent MS Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills
