Are you looking for a Global Hard Service Business Owner role and to contribute in reducing quality and safety risks, delivering value creation and assuring supplier performance and compliance monitoring, while driving all projects related to providers’ activities: If so, this is the job for you.
As Global Hard Service Business Owner, you will Define the systems and processes for the management of the service contracts for hard services. You will interact as Global Engineering representant with Local Technical Services. You will define the “make versus buy” strategy and for the subcontracted part, ensure contracts are in place with EHS and Quality agreements. You will ensure supplier performance is in place and innovation & continuous improvement plans are developed and executed.
Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following
- Participate in the definition of the outsourcing strategy for GSK Vaccines with GSK Vx – PSC – WREF and represent the business with Global functions (Legal, Procurement, EHS and Quality) to ensure appropriate sourcing strategy and supplier selection.
- Drive the tender process and selection of the preferred Service Provider together with the Legal, Procurement, EHS, Quality and Business Owners of all sites.
- Define, implement and coordinate an end to end system and process to ensure robust contract management coordination in line with policies and regulations.
- Lead projects related to contractors transversally for all sites (ex: compliance, optimization, simplification of processes and tools…) in coordination with the Legal, Procurement, EHS, Quality and Business Owners.
- Maintain clear RACI between the roles and responsibilities of the Global Engineering, Procurement, EHS, Quality and Business Owners.
- Guarantee Quality and EHS agreements are in place with providers to comply with all Environmental, Health and Safety plans, GSK policies and procedure, the Competence and Training, the Self-auditing and inspection, KPI, Certifications for High Risks activities.
- Build the supplier performance management system, control the supplier performance and ensure innovation & continuous improvement plans are developed and executed.
- Coordinate, structure and improve the Global Governance through Enterprise Executive Steering committee, Enterprise Monitoring Oversight meetings, and implement oversight framework in line with the GSK Internal Control Framework.
- Foster the partnership between GSK and FM preferred Service Providers by promoting the service enhancement, supporting the site engineering teams for contract governance and improving the customer satisfaction.
- Develop FM community to share best practices and enhance service model to develop value creation.
Basic Qualifications
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Extensive international experience, agility to instantly adapt to different culture and mindset
- Good knowledge of the international Facility Management market
- Knowledge in Procurement process and contract management (Master Service Agreement, Local Enabling Agreement, Local specifications)
- Expertise on legal aspects (warranties, liability, confidentiality, insurance, dispute, etc) of contract creation, negotiation and execution
- Skills in Performance Management (LEAN culture, Continuous Improvement)
- Knowhow of engineering activities within the pharmaceutical industry (GMP)
- Demonstrates integrity, strives for excellence in her/his work. Reliable trustworthy contributor
- Ability to lead technical, legal and contractual arbitrations in French and English

- Proven track record in project management
- Experienced with senior stakeholder management and GSK external partners
- Autonomous with strong leadership skills to manage transversal teams and projects
