The Challenge
Within Agrifirm, the Specialties cluster is the business unit that serves the market in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia with our specialty products and services. Our specialty products consist of premix, concentrates and additives. As our Global Tech Lead Swine, you build expertise and knowledge related to swine. You set global standards where applicable and develop competencies which will allow Agrifirm to win in targeted markets and with key accounts. You are the person who brings insight into international market developments and market needs, combined with broad knowledge of product portfolio and customer processes to create new opportunities and possibilities. In this role, you will be travelling internationally for about 20 – 30% of your time.

Your responsibilities

• Leading (Virtual) Centre of Expertise platforms to ensure sharing of best practices / concepts / farm management / knowledge. Promoting collaboration and sharing knowledge;
• Ensuring that knowledge on services, feed concepts and products is up-to-date and usable in the markets where needed;
• Making sure specific regional technical knowledge is made available for global use;
• Representing the Specialties Cluster on Agrifirms’ tech & innovation initiatives;
• Visiting Key Customers, together with the Account Manager;
• Identifying and evangelizing success stories of the knowledge which is available globally as well for internal knowledge as for external use via marketing & communications.

In this role, you report to the Global Swine Lead.

What’s on your resume?

• A Master Degree;
• +10 year experience in marketing and portfolio management related roles in the swine industry;
• A strong technical background in the swine industry;
• Experience in the innovation space and market intelligence (globally);
• Global experience with premix, concentrates and additives related products and services;
• You are fluent in English. Other languages are a plus.
