About The RoleWe are excited to be searching for a colleague who is keen on experiencing and contributing to our great Belgian HR team!As HR Officer, you will have a wide range of operational topics to cover and you will be responsible for delivering support to the HR department in various human resources and functions that may include training, performance monitoring, HR projects and staff counseling.Key Responsibilities IncludeIn this role you will touch upon a lot of different HR topics, serving as an HR generalist. Your key responsibilities lay within ensuring that all administrative HR processes run smoothly: new hires onboarding process, performance reviews, individual development plans, local training programs…- Employee lifecycle management: recruitment, onboarding / offboarding, annual processes, benefits, learning and development, performance management, regular meetings etc
- Coordinate the implementation of training schemes to support, develop and grow the business capability
- Supports local recruiting and outreach efforts in coordination with the centralized recruiting team to meet or exceed monthly and annual recruiting targets in the most efficient and effective manner possible
- Ensure an efficient collaboration with interim workforce providers (Adecco follow up).
- Employee and manager support with attendance follow up and absenteeism management
- Delivering reports on general HR activity (employee turnover, absenteeism, blue collars evaluation forms follow up, HC follow up, OR documents…)
- Ensure and encourage the good usage of our HR tools: SuccessFactors, Atoss, PeopleDoc…
- Active participation on various HR projects, events and initiatives
- Ensure proper internal communication in collaboration with HR BP’s
- Ad-hoc handling of administrative tasks, such as translations, unions’ meetings preparation, paperwork and submitting background checks
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices
- You have a Bachelor degree in HR, psychology or economics
- You have a first professional experience in HR, preferably in a multinational environment
- You are fluent in French and in Dutch (both written and spoken); and you have a good knowledge of English
- You have a positive “can do” attitude and outstanding team orientation
- You work accurately, on projects and have an analytical and critical mind
- You have a structured working approach, you drive for results while handling complexity
- You are an excellent communicator
- You are able to work autonomously and to prioritize
- You have a strong understanding of dealing with work council’s and social partners
- In order to create a working relationship with the colleagues, a regular onsite presence is required
- The role is based in Halle but mobility between the different Belgian locations is required
