HR Trainee, Learning & Development (Brussels)

POLITICO is looking for a motivated trainee to join our HR Team in September for a 6-month period!

As a Learning & Development Trainee, you will play a key part in our growing HR team. While supporting the Learning & Development Coordinator, you’ll drive forward various learning initiatives for the employees of POLITICO and nurture a culture of continuous growth and development.

What You’ll Do

• Research potential training opportunities and develop good relationships with external training providers
• Explore ways to enhance visibility and promote L&D initiatives
• Operational support for trainings: scheduling, registrations, attendance lists, room booking, recording, feedback collection
• Research latest trends and methodologies and propose innovative ideas to L&D Coordinator
• Assist the HR team in general projects when needed

What You’ll Need

• A strong command of English is mandatory – French and German are a plus
• A passion for helping others to learn and grow
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Proactive and self-driven attitude
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details
• Expert in MS Office tools and comfortable with digital tools in general
• A team player with a global mindset, able to work with a variety of different stakeholders at all levels of the organization
