We sell our products under a series of well-known international and national brands including Ideal Standard, JADO, Porcher, Armitage Shanks, Ceramica Dolomite and Vidima. As of 31 December 2019, we operated 14 manufacturing plants across Europe and in Egypt, and we employ almost 8,700 people across our business.

We’re currently looking for an interim/freelance Procurement Category Manager to support us on MRO, Technical Services and Facility Management spend categories for a period of 4 months starting in September.

Tasks will include:

  • Supporting the creation and implementation of sourcing strategies that adapt and respond to changes in both external market and internal demand
  • Performing supply market analysis and monitors supply markets. Benchmarking industry and evaluating new opportunities to be included in the sourcing strategies and supplier selection process.
  • Analysing usage, cost, performance…data.
  • Acting as the sourcing expert for the specified products.
  • Supporting strategic supplier evaluation process and selection.
  • Contributing to negotiations and supports contractual agreements.
  • Developing relationships with stakeholders at all levels and ensures internal customer satisfaction.
  • Supporting and monitoring saving projects for the specified products.
  • Tracking saving projects and supplier performance.
  • Identifying opportunities to implement best-in-class approaches to reduce TCO.
  • Contributing to the development of Procurement performance.
  • Creating regular reports in the specified spend area.

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/ other related discipline
  • Minimum 2-5 year experience in strategic Procurement in an international industrial company, covering above spend categories.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, processes and tools
  • Experience in managing and negotiating with vendors
  • Experience in working with cross functional teams internationally
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent team player
  • Drive for results
  • Open for multi-national working-culture
  • Bachelor degree in business administration or similar
  • Fluent English
  • Availability to start at short notice (September) and on a fulltime basis.
