We’re hiring: International Recruitment Consultant

At Start People, we believe in the power of connecting talent with opportunity. As an International Recruitment Consultant, you’ll play a key role in helping non-Dutch- or non-French-speaking candidates build their future in Belgium.

✨ Your role

In our International department, you will:

  • Recruit mainly blue-collar (and occasionally white-collar) profiles for our Belgian clients, always aiming for long-term employment.
  • Support and guide candidates who have recently moved to Belgium, helping them not only to find the right job but also to integrate into the Belgian labor market.
  • Source candidates primarily in Belgium through traditional channels, but occasionally also abroad – handling practical matters such as housing when needed.
  • Build and maintain strong ties with international communities and create lasting candidate relationships.

We’re looking for an empathetic and people-oriented recruiter who gets energy from guiding others toward sustainable employment.

  • You are fluent in English :English is essential for candidate contact.
  • You have basic knowledge of Dutch: Dutch for clients and internal communication.
  • Additional language skills are highly valued.
  • You are patient, understanding, and able to motivate and inspire candidates.
  • You are a creative sourcer, comfortable with digital tools and different recruitment channels.
  • You are well-organized, quick to capture and process information, and can manage multiple clients and processes at once.
  • You work independently and are proactive.
  • You are flexible to travel and collaborate closely with colleagues.
