Function

The Barco LED team is seeking an intern on embedded software to work on the next generation of our LED platform for Barco’s LED display systems used in high profile environments such as control rooms, meeting rooms, ....

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze the needs of internal customers to determine system requirements
  • Design embedded software algorithms for commercial applications
  • Define and execute testing and maintenance procedures for software and its hardware platforms
  • Inspect hardware, electronics and mechanics to ensure compliance to the predetermined requirements
  • Create documentation
Qualifications
  • Intern in Bachelor or Master in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Mechatronics
  • Expertise in Python
  • Expertise in image processing algorithms
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage assigned tasks
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Ability to work well with other team members on a small team
  • Experience with the following is a benefit:
  • Major object oriented languages (e.g., Java, C#)
  • LED-based display technologies
  • Artificial Intelligence Algorithms
