IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

THE POSITION

As IT Support Specialist you will be based in our Antwerp office and be responsible for providing local IT support. You will be part of a large team of IT professionals that are spread through the region North West Europe, with whom you will have regular contact via phone and Teams. Your main tasks are:

Prepare IT equipment for new employees and provide them with correct equipment, thereby co-ordinate with Service Desk to ensure a proper check IN follow up 

Provide 2nd level support and technical to end users in the Antwerp office and in case needed for other offices in the region 

Ensure proper supply management , IT orders, invoice handling, etc.

 Ensure accuracy, security and availability of local systems 

Make proper use of the ticket system connected to the Service Desk and ensure end users will too 

Ensure end users are compliant with IT policies and procedures

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

For this role we require you to be discrete and accurate. You are well able to work independently and work in a remote team setting, and willing to work well with local colleagues. You can set your priorities well and can handle some pressure. Furthermore we require from you:

to be fluent in Dutch and English; both written and spoken, French is a plus

 to have at least a Bachelor Degree in IT/ICT or equivalent diploma 

you preferably have quite some knowledge of ITIL, server operating systems, Office 365, active directory, backup systems, VOIP, TCP/IP, Networking Fundamentals, PowerShell scripting

 to have at least 1 year of local IT support experience 

to have 2 to 5 years of relevant technical IT/ICT experience 

to be flexible to travel to other offices in the region when it’s needed
