What’s the scope?

Reporting into the Snr Merchandising Manager Men the Junior Merchandiserwill support to brief, assort a consumer and market focused regional product offer in line with the overall Brand strategy to meet or exceed overall corporate financial requirements

As our Junior Merchandiseryou will be responsible for:

Administration;

• Create and maintain regional documents & systems
• Drive and review product related marketing tools
• Physical collection ownership
• Support Merchandise Manager

Product Direction;

• Propose the product needs to ensure the regional business plans are met
• Analyse product performance to evaluate strengths and weaknesses to aid future line development and utilize past season sales, product performance data, current marketplace information and trends to define product strategies
• Attend regular meetings with Account Managers / Accounts to ensure full awareness of market needs in terms of line structure, product requirements, pricing architecture, distribution, competitive activity and important operational issues
• Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research

Product Creation;

• Support assorting the regional line from the global range in line with global merchandising strategy and regional plans
• Own DTC buying/ assortment
• Product data Regional adoption
• Support at regional Merch Forecasting at each steps of GTM
• Support sample order for region

Product launch;

• Attend regional sales meetings and account meetings
• Implement Global Mandatory & Recommended Assortment
• Support effective & impactful presentations at country meeting and sales meetings
• Support effective daily communication with internal departments on collection related problems, issues, towards clear solutions and decisions

Strategy;

• Support to set the regional long term merchandising plan/ strategy ( product / platform long

term plan)

• KPI analyses on Regional level

Skills for Success:

• 1 year max (internship included) ideally in apparel industry
• Excellent skills in MS office and working knowledge of Illustrator (preferred)
• Great knowledge of apparel market and market trends, flair for fashion
• Strong communication skills & presentation skills
• Team player and result oriented
• Self-motivated and result driven
• Ability to work under pressure and set priorities accordingly – splendid time management skills
• Analytical thinking and problem solving
