WHAT YOU’’LL DO


Position Overview
As Junior Recruiter, you will be part of the Brussels Recruiting Team - which focuses on identifying and recruiting top talent to reinforce our Consulting Staff. Being a dynamic & highly driven colleague, you manage the interview process: act as a point of contact internally (with interviewers, debrief responsible, EAs & CTAs, shared service Centre,…) as well as externally (with candidates). You take pride in building towards a perfect interview experience for our candidates, as part of their recruiting journey with BCG.

You will manage and assume responsibility for interview planning in a fast-paced environment. You’ll book (and re-book) interviews & meetings in line with our recruiting priorities. You will keep track of specific KPIs and support the the broader recruiting team where needed. You’ll identify and manage the right priorities and processes to ensure that our candidates go through a seamless interview & offer experience.

Being part of the Recruiting team means you are at the Centre of growing the talent pool in our Brussels office. You will partner with multiple stakeholders in the Business Services and Consulting teams, locally & internationally. We highly value flexibility & commitment. Willingness and a “can-do” attitude to help fellow team members are also essential.

What will you do
As a successful candidate you will take on responsibilities including:
  • Help manage the interview process, incl.
  • Schedule interviews taking into account candidates’ profiles and availabilities of candidates and BCG interviewers.
  • Support in building & rolling out the interview master plan (interview capacity vs applicants’ inflow)
  • Managing correspondence between BCG and candidates and be a point of contact for candidates
  • Manage any ad-hoc & last-minute interview-related changes.
  • Support in growing the interviewer team (onboarding, follow up…)
  • Prepare and manage recruiting days.
  • Prepare candidate material, interviewer briefing on candidates and interview schedule.
  • Coordinate with shared service Centre if all practicalities are being handled in due time (logistics, online test…)
  • Welcome candidates, explain and answer questions regarding the recruiting process.
  • Maintain the recruiting database to ensure complete and accurate candidate data, supporting different colleagues where needed.
  • Facilitate further planning & (limited) reporting
  • Support planning of offer discussion activities where needed (conversion)
  • Keep track of offer acceptance, updated profiles in the database and prepare reporting (to local & regional teams)
  • Manage ad-hoc tasks/projects
  • Support in preparing presentations on interview & conversion topics, prepare interviewer meetings.
  • Provide support, co-organize and participate to (large) events where needed.
  • Plan key recruiting meetings
  • Provide back-up for recruiting colleagues when needed.
  • Suggest improvements to our recruiting process
  • Ad hoc, provide support for planning and execution of recruiting projects.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)


  • A bachelor’’s or master’’s degree with 1-2 years working experience with agenda management.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, French/ Dutch
  • Proficient computer skills for software used at BCG (demonstrated basic software knowledge in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel) and keen to learn to work with digital teaming tools like Zoom, Slack & Trello.
  • You’re highly responsive with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organizational skills to assist with all the behind-the-scenes magic while providing creative solutions, driving our high-level customer service, and positively impacting the candidate journey.
  • A strong intellectual curiosity. You’re a creative thinker, interested in the bigger picture
  • A first experience within a recruitment agency or consulting firm is a plus
