Job Description
Reporting to the Sales Director, the Key Account Manager - Personal and Home care - FMCG will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Be responsible for the management of a Top3 retailer, including analysis, presentation of products and trade term negotiation
- Independently handle your customer: manage, direct and control the sales revenue by developing and maintaining sales strategies, objectives, policies and procedures in order to drive the account revenue
- Contribute and agree to the customers objective setting and the preparation of the annual account plan
- Contribute to Sales and Operation Plans by diligent sales forecasts
- Manage customer P&L and control operating expense budgets (trade investment) to achieve objectives and manage a cost-effective operation
- Achieve sales and distribution targets within customer group
- Manage and implement the customer strategy (promotion, distribution, price and communication)
- First leadership opportunity, by steering Junior Key Account Manager(s) and taking care of their development and growth
The Successful Applicant
- Master degree (Economics, Business administration, Marketing)
- 3-5 years of experience within FMCG, in a KAM (retail) position
- Experience with a Top 3 retailer is a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Creative, persistent, result driven with excellent communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch/French and good knowledge of English, written and oral
