Design, develop, and test software solutions for complex systems, ensuring high quality and performance.
Lead a cross-functional team in realizing the client’s vision for seamless data transformation.
Engage with clients regularly during the co-creation process to develop well-structured Real-World Data / Real-World Evidence software solutions.
Play a key role in the end-to-end delivery of data solutions, including design, architecture, and validation.
Contribute to the overall vision and definition of software products and development processes.
Communicate and share knowledge within the team through documentation, presentations, and active participation in Agile development.
Coach and mentor junior team members to support their career advancement and skill development.

Profile

Passionate about supporting healthcare clients in making evidence-based decisions through analysis of well-structured data.
Technical background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software engineering.
Proficient in writing high-quality, testable, and performant code.
Experience in working collaboratively with team members in the development process, including design, test planning, and code reviews.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Team or technical leadership experience, or a strong interest in developing the required skills for becoming an effective team lead.
Proficiency in Python and SQL, preferably with Postgres experience, or a willingness to become an expert in these technologies.
Proficient in using Git and other version control management workflows.
Affinity for big data, statistics, data science, and data modeling.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Fluent in English, additional languages such as French or Dutch are a plus.

Added Values

Experience with developing ETL solutions.
Curiosity and interest in utilizing other tools and techniques to optimize solutions and processes, such as Python statistics and data-wrangling libraries, web frameworks, SQL optimization, and parallel computing.
Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and DevOps technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with other programming languages such as JavaScript, R, C++, Java.
