We are looking for a Maintenance Technician (Handyman) to join the team at ExxonMobil Antwerp.

For this position the candidate needs strong communication skills in Dutch with good level op English. Without, we will not be able to proceed your application.

Responsibility Level

Technical management of sanitary equipment, furniture, etc.

Development and implementation of technical solutions to operational problems

Principal Duties
  • Maintain maintenance & repairs to all offices & conference rooms and execute repairs.
  • Execute small office moves
  • Replace, remove & repair on office furniture
  • Fixing / removing wall decorations
  • Receiving work permits and notifications
  • Coordinate start work discussions
  • Coaching contractors to stimulate safe work
  • Corporate with other maintenance and technical workers
  • Maintenance & small repair on locksmith equipment on offices, filing cabinets, doors…
  • Maintenance & small repair on sanitary equipment & toilet accessory
  • Support for HVAC & electrical technicians
  • Assist departments on their request to clean up
  • Development, implementation and monitoring of operations procedures for maintenance and repair.
Skills/Qualifications / Attributes
  • Full time position ( day hours & occasional overtime )
  • Dutch is mother tongue, knowledge of English
  • Precise working and structured approach
  • Communicates well in a friendly and effective manner with customers
  • Well organized and able to set priorities
  • Knowledge of SI7 ( client service request system )
  • Good safety awareness
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and time constraints
  • Experience of working in a customer services orientated environment
  • Team player, flexible, takes initiative
  • VCA certificate
