The Capacity Manager, PMO Capacity Management will serve as the single point of contact and lead the portfolio level capacity analysis, data visualization, information to insight in support of decision making for individual R&D functions. Acting as a trusted advisor to their function, the Capacity Manager will proactively identify risks and opportunities relative to the portfolio demand vs. supply analyses, drive consistent data visualization, and enable informed resource planning in close collaboration with Functional Leaders, Project Planners, Finance and other key business partners. An analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to effectively communicate with a broad range of stakeholders are critical skills for a successful Capacity Manager Responsibilities: Understand supported function’s business needs and design appropriate approach to address Represent supported function in evaluating proposed modeling, process, analyses, or visualization changes Collaborate with peers to develop and implement new analytics and visualizations Continually assess resource demand forecast model accuracy and recommend options for improvement; perform annual validation of algorithms Execute, or coordinate if beyond access rights, required technical changes in Planisware and integrated planning platforms Lead monthly Continuous Forecast analysis and functional leadership reviews; recommend business actions to eliminate resource risks Support Annual Business Planning process as needed Participate in cross department and PMO special initiatives Qualifications B.S degree is required; advanced degrees are a plus A minimum of three years of relevant industry experience and prior experience in a planning/forecasting role is required General end to end drug development knowledge is required Knowledge of Planisware, ProModel EPS, and Tableau is a plus Expert analytical and data-visualization skills are required (e.g., experience analyzing data trends, historical trends, data mining, simulation, optimization, predictive modeling, Machine Learning, etc.). The ability to translate complex, sometimes disparate data into simple, logical insights and drive decision making is required Expert interpersonal skills with the ability to actively listen, quickly evaluate multiple options across various stakeholders, and deliver high-impact solutions is required Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills are required PMP certification preferred At Johnson & Johnson, we’re on a mission to change the trajectory of health for humanity.
