Legend Biotech is seeking Master Data Sr. Specialistas part of the Supply Chain, Technical Operations team based in Ghent, Belgium.

Strategic Collaboration

Legend Biotech USA Inc. and Janssen Biotech, Inc., one of the pharmaceutical companies of Johnson & Johnson, have entered into a global, strategic collaboration to develop, manufacture, and commercialize a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy. This innovative strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of two companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy CAR T platform and investigational treatment.

Position Overview:

This individual will work within site supply chain team in Belgium and will be responsible for leading the successful design and delivery of SAP data management solutions for S4 deployment in Belgium site. The Master Data Sr. Specialist will closely work with all IT business unit partners and will drive the data quality, integrity and data management across SAP that will enable business users to leverage and use the data as a differentiator in running the business

Major Responsibilities:

• Manage Legend’s portfolio of ERP data-related initiatives across the manufacturing network
• Build and drive plans to improve data practices for operational, reporting and analysis needs – Inclusive of development of processes, control and best business practices around data management
• Assist business functions find short-term tactical workarounds to data issues to meet critical business needs while also identifying initiatives to solve the core data issues
• Build organization understanding of data lifecycles from creation to end use, working with subject matter experts in various business functions, operations and IT teams
• Resolve any receiving/picking/shipping/inventory complaint issues quickly and effectively.
• Perform account and inventory reconciliations as needed.
• Provide timely responses to business units’ representative(s) and suppliers inquiries
• Assist with the development and implementation of spend analysis, supplier performance metrics, standard operating procedures and work instructions
• Collaborate with Finance and Accounts Payable, suppliers and business stakeholders in support of on-going operational efficiency efforts

Key Relationships

Establish key stakeholder relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to interact with all levels within the organization and across regions.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Supply Chain, or Business with relevant experience on SAP deployment

Experience:

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with data management solutions for SAP: Migration, Business Objects, Data Quality, etc. including working with SAP FI/CO/MM/SD/WM and PM

Capabilities, Knowledge, and skills:

• Ability to work independently and successfully, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, integrate cross-functional issues and balance competing priorities effectively. Must be able to manage shifting priorities to meet critical deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic, growing environment.
• Strength in communicating and working effectively with broad stakeholders in various scientific/technical/business disciplines.
• Very strong influencing capabilities with an ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and across different functions.
• Ability to promote a mindset of continuous improvement, problem solving, and prevention.
• Hands on experience leading data definitions and process development, data quality modeling, and solving efforts of data implementation projects collaborating with cross functional teams (internally and externally)
• Experience working closely with data and ERP integrators to ensure changes are appropriately adopted and synchronized with the overall Legend Biotech ERP and data strategy
• Prior experience with SAP query viewer / design, and advanced GUI access
• Prior experience deploying P2P, D2D, RTR/FI modules from design to deployment
• Proficient with processing large volume of data, designing queries and advanced analytics reporting tools
• Proficient in Project Management
