Our client is an international supplier of pressure vessels and heat exchangers that designs and manufactures equipment for the chemical, petrochemical, and mining sectors, as well as for compressor manufacturers.

The position:

For the position as a Mechanical Draftsman you are responsible for:

  • Developing plans: You translate the design prepared by the project engineer into detailed drawings. You ensure an accurate and fully elaborated detailed design
  • Collaboration and consultation: In case of questions, uncertainties, or possible design alternatives, you always coordinate with the project engineer. Good communication and cooperation are crucial here
  • Preparing material lists: You create detailed material lists based on the already chosen material types. Your knowledge of materials and their properties is very useful in this regard
  • Document management: You manage and register the drawings in a document management system. A structured approach is important here
  • Use of AutoCAD 2D: You apply your expertise in AutoCAD 2D to create professional and technically accurate drawings.

Your profile:

  • Technical skills: Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 2D is essential. Additionally, knowledge of materials is a strong advantage
  • Accuracy and precision: You work in an environment with high-tech products where attention to detail is crucial
  • Passion for drafting: You enjoy detailed and precise drafting work and find satisfaction in creating accurate designs
  • Communication skills: You communicate clearly with colleagues and are a team player who values collaboration highly
