Medior UI designer

Do you know how to design engaging interfaces that invite clicking, scrolling and swiping?

As a Medior UI Designer at iO, you will help our clients create extraordinary experiences by designing interfaces that match end-users’ needs.

• You will work closely with UX designers, researchers and the development team to ensure the best user experience of apps, websites and web shops
• You translate both high- and low-fidelity wireframes into attractive designs
• You create interactive prototypes to validate certain designs and patterns with the end user and various stakeholders
• You defend your design choices and are able to express and discuss your vision with team members
• You advise clients on possible solutions and ask questions to understand user needs

Your team
You will work in the client’s team and also often at their offices. This way, you can best share your expertise with them and are present wherever it is needed. In addition, you are fully part of iO and are supported by the full team who will guide and help you whenever you would have questions and you will also get all the accompanying benefits.In addition, knowledge is the basis of everything you do at iO. This means that you not only grow by working on challenging projects in small-scale teams but also that you can completely shape your personal growth path yourself. Wat je meebrengt als Medior UI designer

• You have +3 years of experience as a UI designer
• You design mobile first: you know everything there is to know about responsive design and mobile UI
• You are familiar with design patterns, best practices and the most common UX principles
• You have experience with design systems
• You understand the importance of accessibility and put it at the heart of your designs
• You can work with modern design and prototyping tools, such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Invision
• You have strong communication skills and know how to present clearly to different stakeholders
• You are interested in the latest design trends and know what is going on in the design world
• You speak Dutch or French and English
